Antioch Baptist Church was organized April 25, 1918 in the one room school house across the road just south of the present land owned by the church today. Reverend G.W. Stanley was the minister at the time of the organization. There were 19 charter members at that time. On July 6, 1918, Mr. and Mrs. W.M. Blackmon gave the church 11/4 acres more or less of land with this stipulation, "when this place ceases to be a place of worship of Almighty God this conveyance becomes null and void". We thank God it has been a place of worship for 80 years and trust it will be until Jesus comes back.

Today Antioch Baptist Church is a growing, vibrant church dedicated to sharing the message of Christ. Each Sunday you will find a relevant message challenging each to live the life in which God purposed.
